Mary Jane Schriner is a freelance writer for the NY Times and published author. Recently Mary Jane wrote a story for the NY Times recalling her frienship with Yankees owner George Steinbrenner. Now at age 78, Mary Jane has assembled a collection of short stories which she has written over the last 40 years. Mary Jane has published her stories in a new book called “And So”. Several of her stories can be found on this blog, including her brand new story “Summers with George”, a great retrospective on a soon to be sports icon.
